Today tickets for the Groundswell Show go on sale, via our website: www.groundswellag.com/tickets/thenotillshow
It's shaping up to be an unmissable event for anyone with an interest in no-tilling and soil health...but, as one of the promoters, I would say that wouldn't I?
We have seven drill makers who have confirmed that they will be demonstrating: Claydon, John Dale, John Deere, Mzuri, Primewest, Simtech and Sumo (in alphabetical order) and others are hovering...
We have lined up Jill Clapperton and Sarah Singla to give an international viewpoint to the benefits of looking after your soil. Both are very inspiring speakers and have practical ideas for better farming. There will also be a host of UK farmers sharing their experiences of no-tilling and sundry experts chipping in.
There's a nice selection of other businesses who have taken stalls to promote soil health, cover crops and other concerns of the modern farmer. We have the rainfall simulator machine, which is winging it's way from Kansas to illustrate exactly how different soils cope with rain.
And, if they get here from Glastonbury on time, we should have some compost toilets so we can harvest NPK (and trace elements) from the assembled crowd and add it to our compost heap. It's all about the Carbon!
