TM temperature reading

What bars are lads reading on there tm's temperature gauge, mine runs 1 bar over halfway most of the time,I rather if it ran at a lower level, but the hoses don't seem to be too hot,and the bottom hose coming from the rad would only be luke warm,I'm wondering is the sensor giving a slightly wrong reading.I would rather if it was running a bar below halfway if I'm honest.
The rads are clean, could I have a dodgy viscous? Its new holland tm.

My 135 runs spot on half way regardless of how much grief it gets. The 155 wanders up to to 7 bars sometimes but soon drops back when the fancy electronic fan kicks in. Neither of them have ever been remotely close to boiling as far as I'm aware and they have both had a tweak. (1 turn of the fuel screw)

The fan is electronically engaged, change display to fuel and dont worry!

Mine always ran a half way on the 165 till something happened to it and now it runs at half way all day but as soon as you put the lights on the gauge jumps right up, the less lights you have on the lower the gauge its off to get fixed soon will be interesting to see what it was

Seen that problem before, it will be a bad earth lead.

Our tms run fairly hot and it's all down to the back end oil. Have heard of dealers fitting a second oil cooler and it transforming the tractors, that's another one on my to do list when I get a chance.

Our 135 is at this now. Did you get this sorted? Can you remember the cause of the problem?

Did you ever find out where the problem was then ?
