Bit of green fever the past few days, all done for a week or so now!
had to go push the muck heap up tonight...bit of a hole near it so decided to level a bit of spare soil
3 hours later i get the tractor home....
in all fairness the wheel had been chafing on the kingpin for a few months, now i know why
just glad id didnt let go earlier today while i had a tonne of fert hung over the spreader!!!!
Fergy 9 hole bar and a chain, dragged her back home to await a new kingpin!!!!

Good of you to get dressed up for the occasion
What were you demonstrating? How to roll yourself in shite?
A chock of wood in between the axle and your wallet on the power harrow would have done the job.
I know but I'd have done anything possible to avoid walking home or ringing for a lift.I prefer the "road train" look, got a few glances heading up the main A road to the yard during rush hour thats for sure!!!!!
Did days of scraping like thisI know but I'd have done anything possible to avoid walking home or ringing for a lift.

You have the patience of a saint, if the bloody wheel fell off my tractor I would have delivered it straight to the scrapyard in frustration.
Great pics there! Can't beat walking through barley when it's windy and the sun is shining. It's like being at sea!View attachment 157770View attachment 157772View attachment 157774View attachment 157776
