Is that Clive`s new one?
Still no.

I made some ruts yesterday but added some N to wheat and barley.

Neighbour did one pass with his drill in the autumn before abandoning it, in the foreground some volunteers in some land that he has sold to a nearby house.
Kind of sums up last autumn, the land in the distance is farmed by smaller farms with small kit.

Now there is no wheat on the big boys land nearby the swans have started on my volunteer Spring barley.

Bedding up the freshly weaned heifers - it is very noisy out there this evening.

Interesting view of blackgrass in some fields local to me. They have been farmed by several different people recently, none with a long enough stint to be able to get on top of the BG so I'm not commenting on that. More that the left field was recently ploughed permanent pasture and was clean so we can see how BG spreads. It's thick up that one side but very little elsewhere which makes me think it was mostly blown over the hedge from combining rather than contaminated equipment

Due to access the RHS field is usually worked first, then they cross over at the bottom
