Doing my bit for the environment and took my recycling in this morning, every supermarket out here has a little recycling hut around the back where you can take glass or plastic bottles and in return you get a voucher to redeem in the shop . It stops a lot of littering as everything has value that can be got easily. Why couldn’t it be this simple in the uk 🙈🙈

Sainsbury have them. 5p for an empty drink can/ plastic bottle.
