Tractor design for no-till

Perfect!
I've got a picture in my head of a self-propelled no-till drill built by a Swiss farmer, really low centre of gravity for planting on the side of the Alps. Can't find it now.

Do you mean this one ??

Years and years ago willrich had a 12 mtr cultivator drill using boughault points ( the same as claydon use ) . They had that behind a tw30 and that would of had 60 odd tines on it . A normal dd drill drilling at an inch to two inches deep is not moving a lot of soil . As Clive has said with time the soils get easier worked so less hp needed , it is just the terrain that dictates what hp you need .
