Tractor for Sheep farm

Come to conclusion after 10 years, 5 different drivers and good service in fairness need to change my Landini tractor. Its the only tractor on the farm so need something reliable and current one is starting to let me down. Its main work will be feeding, grass harrow, fertiliser, rolling, some topping, spraying and also have mad idea to try pick up aitchison drill. Dealers close by are Deutz, Massey, Kubota, Valtra and New Holland, will probably try pick up decent 2nd hand one if can but will see. Would like to keep Massey/Valtra as mechanic I use is a Massey specialised, but wouldn't be show stopper.

Anyone got any pointers around these makes as I am out of the machinery loop since went all sheep 10 years ago, all the dealers would have good back up as mainly tillage area here. I did look at the Kubota's yesterday and wasn't blown away, they look very light and fact that wheel weights are being added to them wouldn't fill me with confidence.

I'd say Valtra or Deutz. If you decide to go Valtra, try and get the new 4 series, it's far more comfortable and driver friendly than the older series. Might be hard to find one though. All of your options are decent, to be honest.

Love my Valtra N111, does everything for us. All spring work, spreading and bailing ect everything you want. Punchy, plenty of power but done a lot of hours now and looking to change. The new N's are looking very promising but I'm a Valtra man through and through, I'd be having a bit more power as looking at bigger muck trailer and spreader.

Great front loader tractors, only complaint is it's nowhere near as planted on the road at 50K then the neighbours JD 6430P, that said it'll rinse it in a pulling contest...

Massey purely on economics, nothing touches them secondhand when trading them in.
Parts readily available for most models and technical help, easily obtained.
But your area might well be different?

But if non of the above interest you, Zetor get one a little bigger than you think you need and it will last a lifetime.

The only way is to ring around and see if they have a good s/h tractor that would suit you.then it's down to the deal you can get. Some may be more interested in the landini than others

Saw a very clean 2nd hand tractor today, maybe little older than had planned but very clean. Only thing no loader hard to know if be hard get a loader for it or worth the investment
