Traffic Splay Survey recommendations

The vision splay requirements needed for each class and speed limit are standard and should be searchable. When we did ours in a position chosen by county highways, it is on a C class lane, but because there is no speed limit they assume it’s a 60 mph road!

Cost us a two day survey to show that the actual average speed was less than 30 mph so the visibility was ok.

Are you creating a specific area for the vending machine and need planning? I thought you were allowed to just install in farm driveway without needing permission

My planning chap was told a large application for me needed one. He just did it as a DIY thing with photos. Taught me something new. Not worth paying for a professional report if you don’t need to.
