Trailed 36m sprayer

Hi, looking to increase sprayer output by going to a bigger trailed 36m machine from my current 24m. 50% of my workload is contracting at 24m which on some farms would have to stay at 24m, so which trailed sprayers are out there that fold to 24 and 36m

Hi,
How about the Kuhn Metris2.
One of the lightest and compact ‘large’ trailed sprayers on the market, with a complete range of spec options available.
3200ltr or 4100ltr tanks with 36m alu booms, steering axle, auto boom height, s/c and ISOBUS compatibility are just a few of the options.
PM me for more details of you are interested. Cheers.

Everyone does a 36m/24m combination. Make sure you have some sort of boom break back fitted when folded at 24m in case some of your farms don’t quite drill the headlands in the right places!

I would be biased but why not look at the horsch range. Anything from 4000l right up till 8000l. They do the boom set up you want and have hydraulic protection when running at 24m

I'm looking at the second hand market. Have already viewed a hardi Tri fold but that one didn't fold down to 24m can't remember the exact measurements of each section

ah well if your going 2nd hand you'll be hard pushed to find a better boom than the knight series 4, we have a 13year old 3000L EU with 24m series 4 boom and hardly a mark on the boom and no welding at all apart from some new ball joints

Recently had a Chafer Sentry 12/24/36 and very pleased. The boom height control isn’t the best so we might buy something as an add on as I think this is the most important aspect of spraying today.

Nothing to do with the engineering of the sprayer but personally I don’t like the Muller control box and joystick. Coming from an Agleader Integra on a Bateman and the Muller is a big step backwards.
