The dread of Monday morning (which then spoils much of Sunday) just isn’t an issue for me - this compensates for an awful lot of other downsides.

I think too that we often underestimate how miserable many non-farmers are in reality - they may have a predictable income, and aren’t subject to the vagaries of weather, markets and increasingly capricious government decisions to the same extent as farmers, but life is a tedious drudge for an awful lot of people.
Personally I feel that the lifestyle and the working environment really helps me to deal with a lot of the crap!

Think for many we can cope with animals, weather, price fluctuations etc but what really depresses many smaller farmers is government duplicity & stupidity in for ever changing the rules & subsidies, the idiots have no idea of the complexities, extra work & worry their ill thought through policies bring.
If there is one reason alone that this crowd of stupid so called “Tory” politicians need throwing out on their ears it’s the mess they have made of farming!

Probably none but I’ve seen what labour can do and I’m still fearful of them
Some of their policies are pretty bad for anyone who is a progressive farmer it would be a bad day when I voted for them
look at Wales, think we have got off light in comparison but as Brian said vote for this lot of useless buggers???
