Univoq problems spring 2023

Used 70lt last week, 200lt/ha and clean water put through the lines between tanks and full triple rinse washout at the end of the day.
I thought I'd got away with it but this evening I cleaned the suction filter and noticed all the o rings in the filter had got very over stretched and felt very soft.

Another thing I noticed Is on the last tank of the day I added a sniff of talius to the tank mix of univoq, mn and epsotop and that field of wheat looks like it's just had a grass weed SU, it's yellow and a bit sickly looking.
It seems to be a corteva thing to make their chems stink. talius smells nearly as strong as univoq but it does smell a bit like pear drops and I kind of like it.

O rings on the filters always expand and get ‘squidgy’regardless of the Chem. Leave them out in the sun for a a few days and they’ll shrink back.

I’ve heard from several people that it was out in Europe a year earlier and they had no problems at all because they use a higher water rate? Surely this complete rubbish? Seems most unbelievable.
What I was told too, by agronomist.
Smell is basically acetone, isn't it, and that is a powerful solvent. Which may explain how higher water rates appear to help by increasing dilution.

Has eaten about a quarter of nozzle diaphragms, Ramsey is now leaking fluid as well.
Was 2022 batch if that makes a difference, let more trouble then last year's.

That would be a shame because it is a lot cheaper than the alternatives, and a good fungicide.
But I will never understand companies making products that stink, and let the whole parish know you are or have been spraying.
Can only assume it is to thwart organic night-time "stealth" sprayers.
Not many chemical do not stink
Avadex pdm ect

especially to the non farming nose
