So simply a counter protest to Just stop oil. That message will help us about as much as a fart in a lift.
That thought is far too simple, and im sure not ment that way,
But chasing net zero by importing everything is as the french say, ( think) "walking on your head"
If we scrapped the 1% C footprint (of worldwide) we produce, It wouldnt make a flying fart to anybody, except to our pockets £
And the world laughs on behind our back, because we are leaders in C reduction ( a laughing stock)
The public need educating by peolpe who farm for tomorrow
Not poloticians who live for today!!
So as in Wales, whos fight appears to be about net zero, so is ours,, Plant trees to eventualy be burnt down for fuel, Weras pasture stores C , poss, for ever. Political short term gain as ever
The re trying to fine tune the countryside and know bugger all about nowt, but theve got a degree and doctorate

First of all we would like to thank all of you who came to the two meetings held in Welshpool and Carmarthen to express your views about the situation we are in as an agricultural industry.
May we also thank everyone who couldn’t come but have shared their concerns and offered their support.
During the last two weeks we have been meeting with union leaders and senedd members to try and get our message over that we are in crisis.
Our union leaders are meeting Lesley Griffiths tomorrow and we would like to share with you what we’ve asked them to take to the table.
SFS is not workable as a scheme.Every open meeting held whether by the unions or by Welsh government has had the same feedback.
NOT WORKABLE.
We have made it clear that we on your behalf are asking for the single farm payment to remain and a greening or habitat scheme to run along side with conditions and payments that suits the farmers and the government.
NVZ we believe the government should refer to the scientific evidence provided by their own indipendant report stating ONLY 8% of Welsh land should be in it.
TB Again we are asking for them to look at the science and evidence from other areas that are successful in the control of TB.
We look forward to hearing from the union leaders tomorrow after their meeting with the rural minister before we decide what actions to take this coming week.
We will continue to highlight our situation and share our messages to the public.
Many Thanks
Enough is Enough

Tractors at Newtown, Powys for the Labour Party wannabe leader debate

I know it’s not easy to publicise these things without alerting those who might seek to block it, but they’d have certainly have had more tractors out if word had got out more widely.

I read 83 tractors out as well as lots of trucks apparently, so an impressive turnout and big enough to shake the candidates hopefully.👍

But surely knowing your carbon will help fight back the nuts vegans and prove your operation is carbon zero!
When any farmer mentions carbon reduction, carbon capture, net zero, it really boils my pee! Have we all been brainwashed by this totally false so called science? We need to fight back with the truth, no cO2 no food!
cO2 is essential plant food. We need more not less in the atmosphere, if it was a serious problem, don't you think that all but essential air travel would be banned?
