What’s involved in triggering a vote on AHDB cereals?

Frustrating, and we have been previously fobbed off, but crunch time is coming isn't it.

For cereals they've got to make market access easier. If they come back and say "everything's fine, RT is great, we've discussed it, now go away" then I think they can expect us to be unhappy and organise an existential vote.
Maybe there are overarching desires to have multiple bodies to control the food market and limit farm gate income? AHDB, in fairness, do many good things, as do NFU to this point... quite why both are very happy to ruin their appearance in supporting RT, which does not a single good thing, over and above farmers is quite baffling to me, it smells only of corruption imho. BRC can't be that persuasive to that many without having a lot of dirt or bribes being involved.

Anyone can organise a vote Graham.

Tbh I've got a farm to run, and not time to be faffing about with AHDB, but we're trying our best. We've made ground over past 3 years, albeit slower than we'd like. We're closer to a shake-up of assurance that anyone's got before.

Frustrating, but I think a little bit more patience required.

im not having a go. ive said before you and the others have done to get done what you have done. It shows the true side of the ahdb etc as they can also see this but there not making any effort to change as they dont seam scared by whats been done so far thats the worrying part

It needs some way of collecting letters or emails from growers then sending them in one hit as dribs and drabs wont work. Maybe emailing everyone on this site with a predone letter for them to sign or something

It needs people with skills in this section not just a random pig/sheep cereal farmer who has time. and thats not a dig at what or who has achieved so much this far
