In winter, feed and bed and whatever else as usual in morning, church, then big feed! Have the home fire roaring and takin her handy, then out in the evening again. In summer usually try and make the most use of any good sunshine we get whilst not working in it.....it would be a shame to waste all the good days on the seat of a tractor!! We have some cracker beaches and what not here so can't not use them!

work, time waits for no man, if it needs doing, it needs doing, irrespective of what day it is.....

i dated a girl whos parents were strict presbyterians, nothing happened on thier farm on sundays, they didnt combine, even if rain was forecast on the monday

i turned up one sunday evening during harvest, (after they had had the chapel service, in thier own chapel, in the garden i might add) to find 2 hesston balers and a chaser parked outside the gate. On no accounts were they allowed on the farm till monday morning!!!!!

was quite funny in a way, mother was a curates daughter, father was a proper headcase, he would read the daily paper, and cross out any words he found offensive before anyone else was allowed to read it. Same with any books in the house, most had ines drew through most pages...

they didnt have a tv, they didnt have mobile phones, just a landline and a laptop so the mother could skype one of the daughers who had moved the other side of the country to get away from her father and his medieval ways

you would never believe that i met the younger daughter on an internet dating site!!!!

Sunday morning is in the office, underfloor heating, tea, TFF, Vat, some invoicing and listen again to Kisstory dance anthems from Friday night, which includes a jig round the office. Then sometimes an easy adternoon but usually something crops up that needs attention.

Just had an ebay buyer turn up at 7am to collect a bargain, all arranged in advance. All I can say is what a star, running around to get the purchases picked up before looking at the sheep at dawn on a Sunday!

Needless to say he is young, keen and hungry!
