How often do you service your quad? Mine starts telling me 'maintenance required' at 500 miles after the last service. You'd be getting that after 10 days or so?
Do all the servicing our self so long as we get from dealer he is happy oil is shifted once a month and grease it up once a week. Only thing had go on it was 4wd joint at front but it was after a long wet spell and been in a lot of mud.

Yeah they do have a few flaws. Stupid things which could be easily sorted at design stage and make it a great bike.

Let me guess - the main one was bushes wore out like a bugger and then the rear knuckles/hubs wear away?? Youd go through the standard bushes every 5 - 6 weeks? And probably 4 pairs of rear hubs/knuckles? Never mind brake pads... abd tyres!

The standard rubber bushes are mince!! Iv replaced them with nylon ones from USA and so far things seem good (y) Cant do much about brake pads or the tyres wearing out quick sadly.
Also the rear suspension arms split open and fuel system became a problem aswell

Just heard today Arctic Cat have/are discontinuing the 700 Diesel, with no new model to replace it (shame - AC look like theyve stepped up this time and sorted the bad bits)... dealers were told on the quiet a few months ago.

Might try and get a new one before they are gone, but if im unsuccessful i will have to go back to expensive petrol, and 1 hour round-trips to the pumps

You lot with the Can-Ams, does any of you have the 450? I really doubt i need anything bigger.

You lot have all given great reviews, so i may aswell give one a go... depending where my nearest dealer is? I will look at the Hondas again, but im open to anything now.

Aye its cheap NOW... but who knows where itl go!
Im used to burning cherry mind so its still expensive ;)

Just looking site the 450 seems ideal for me.

Will need to have a hunt and find where my 'local' dealer is... theres no marketing done round here - iv never seen a Can-am in the flesh.

EDIT: They dont seem to do a 400, 500 anymore? Its 450 and 570... and theres more as just £300 between them.

My nearest dealer is 2 hours drive away, but he does cover the whole of Scotland...
