The 37 indictments against him look pretty damming (treasonous?) this time. Ironically, he potentially will be caught be some of his own laws he put in place to try and get Hillary Clinton. His saving grace could be the Florida circuit judge who will hear the case is a Trump appointee and is known to be a supporter, unless the prosecutor can get her removed as being compromised.

I’m not an American. But, no the president does not have the power to create new retroactive laws on his own, hence my question.
