Been bloomin windy this afternoon -getting rape from combine to trailer bit of problem. Involved shading the trailer by using combine up-wind. Not over impressed that forecast is rain tomorrow.

Two hours of rain forecast at dinnertime.....
Only a few spots on windscreen, not even enough to stop baling.
No bloody sun though.
Forgotten what a shadow is.

Today I will be staying at home and transplanting some late leeks, parsnips and broccoli........under cover. If I could afford it, I'd cover the whole garden with a massive polytunnel(n)

Thinking of those weather predictors you used to see years ago with a liitle man with an umbrella coming out if it was going to rain or a lady with a parasol if it was going to be sunny, they'd be spinning like tops now.
