hi.. i know stainless steel is the ultimate when it comes to fertilizer but would it be any addition if i sandblasted a fert spreader hopper, patched up any weak spots and the sent it to be hot dip galvanised or would it be a waste of time?

Dad worked on farms in the 1950's-1970's. He bought his first house in about 1976 when no longer working on farms so at least he managed to get a foothold outside of tied cottages. Always a mixed blessing.
