This has likely been cover lots before but what's the best antenna to buy and fit to get DAB working ?

It's for a fastrac 4220 the antenna is crap to say the least and since the local radio station has changed due to my area stations are limited . I tried the DAB in the farm hilux and it picks up lots of stuff so looking to get the radio working well in the fastrac .

The stand alone aerial gets the best signal if you can three it through but if not I use the converter

Tractor has a convertor in it just now .

At the moment I've got it picking up fm through a cb aerial and can get decent reception to further away stations but hasn't improved DAB.

So looks like I'm best to get a stand alone for that and mount it somewhere.

It’s a mag mount base but on another tractor I cable tied it to existing aerial watch what type of plug it is as there are two differ
2 different types threaded or push in

I've just fitted this in my loadall at the weekend and used the stick to window one that came in the box, seems to pick up plenty of channels in the yard but havent been out of the yard to test in poorer signal areas

Not sure where yours comes from but I think our dab comes from well south of us even tho I can clearly see chatton tv and radio masts
Yeah my only experience of it was when I got my new car and the futher away from Newcastle I got the worse the ability got to pick it up then if I go to Edinburgh it gets better up the A1. I'll try one on it and see what happens

£109 for a Radio Aerial you have to be kidding me tho

back to OP ive just ordered a £18 ebay special that does FM & DAB & has a power cable for 12v so i'll try that
coz the stickon Dab type in a 2019 massey is utter dross
And the latest idea on my other one isnt even working atm & its a all in one combi type that iam awaiting dealers too sort.
