In elnino southern oz tends to be dry and you guys wetter than a lobsters 🦞 loungeroom.

Its drier than an arabs raincoat here at the moment in Victoria.

I thought you guys had had some rain, and that's why your sheep prices had turned around?

If you need some heat pop over to Victoria for a few days as we get a good old fashioned 3 day stinker, i remeber these back in the 80s with no air con!!

the correlation of wet in england is not linked to every el nino

when the midlands of england have a wet time the west of scotland often dryer than normal is

the weather is far more complex which makes it hard to predict more than a day forward
Its the same in oz with elnino making it dry, a mistake the federal weather dept made aling with climate extremeist the national broadcaster, they where salivating at the prospect of drought.

Although now dry in my part if the world the rest of the country has been wet this summer, even the desert is flooding.

Many other privately paid forecasters got it right.

Must have been some serious money made by the folks who.bought all those cheap store lambs, or was that hyped up over here too?

Many lost alot of money, some made money mostly processors, Aldi and supermarkets take lambs pretty light.

It cost me 15k in losses for cattle excluding feeding and fert etc for the year.

Managed to buy in a fair bit cheaper than current market price.

The exporters have made a killing.

This is what caved the livestock markets, we had a wet winter, okish spring, wet first half of summer, manybplaces record wet spring and summer.

Abc news here was spruiking this up as climate emergency catastrophe bla bla bla, most older farmers unfortunately watch abc news.
