Just thought I would post up a problem and solution we had last season with our 818, might help somebody else.
It had slow starting response on the auxillary hydraulics when under heavy load, i.e. lifting twin rotor rake at headlands. It didn't matter where the flow control was set. It didn't matter on something small like a baler pickup. You could see the difference by plugging in a pressure gauge at the QRC. Another Fendt would immediately flick to full pressure. This one would ramp up more slowly. Dealer said start with suction filter in hydraulic tank (not a scheduled service item) so off with wheel, fuel tank, hydraulic tank - needed oil change anyway. Filter clean as whistle so waste of effort and dollars.
Then went to small valve at the rear left of valve bank under right hand step. I think it's something to do with the load sensing circuit for power beyond. This had an extra washer it looked like somebody had put into it. This was removed - seemed a bit better for a while. They were working on all this, later on still not right so we swapped valve out of our 820 to test - fixed problem. Put original valve back, came right for a while. In the end replaced valve it was only $180 odd NZD
