Ferguson plough

Evening all,
Got a couple of ploughing matches coming up, it's been a while!! I have a Ferguson 2 furrow plough, I need a new set of plough shares, one of mine has cracked between the bolts, just wondered if anyone has used the agriline reproduction ones didn't know what the quality was like or if anyone can recommend a good supplier

Plenty of repro on the market, most suppliers sell them anything from £35 upwards. No point hunting for genuine and paying through the nose these days.
Trouble being there is a lot of rubbish for sale, they don’t fit and seem made of chocolate!!!
Fortunately I bought a load off Westlakes, the last of the steel ones. We did also get some that were cast in China that were very good but that source seems to have dried up too.
It will become a struggle going forward, we were looking at getting some cast ourselves but not sure if I will stay in the Class past this season.

Yes I have heard the repro ones leave a fair bit to be desired, would be a shame to see you leave Fergie class, I have enjoyed seeing your posts on here over the years.

I don't think repro anything is as good as original, but plough shares are wearing parts and the originals will eventually run out. I use YL44's on my Ransome, I just get them from anyone who's selling at a reasonable price, some last longer than others and most seem to fit ok...
