Can ordinary urea be bought now Or only the protected stuff?protected Urea £395 for an artic load.
You could be incorporating it when/if the drilling starts 🫣.I'd question why someone would happily sell you Urea now with only a couple days to spread it
I asked for a price on ordinary urea, they quoted for protected,as posted you could be buying it for next year. Can ordinary urea be bought now Or only the protected stuff?

Another 2 dry days and I recon I could have got spread what I normally give an early dose. As it happened I had too much on and didn’t have time to hitch the spreader up and get it calibrated.I got most of what I set in to do done 2 fields I drove in 20 yards and reversed back out
I just put it on this dinner time. Only put a few bags on but should help. The lack of grass is worrying me so even if it’s not good weather ahead it’s worth a try. Late spring again the heat is in the ground just the east winds and wet soil is the problem. Been on fixing a few drain this last couple of days so I can get travelled round lambing fields a bit easier and the whole soil profile is totally sodden, the last few years it was only the top 2-3 inch wet and dry below. If it doesn’t come a dry summer silage time is going to be a real worry.I just put it on this dinner time. Only put a few bags on but should help.
