Right, recently had a full MOT at the drs, have been feeling a bit shabby/tired and sore recently. Full disclosure, I'm a big unit always have been, never particularly overweight just a big bloke, 6ft4" been 18-19st since I was about 18. Never a marathon runner type but fit for physical work. I'm now in my mid 40s and have put a bit of weight on since I last weighed myself and got a fright at the drs ! About 5 years ago I lost a couple of stone and was just under 17st and felt great...but that was more down to having 2 small children who didn't sleep and never really eating properly! Blood pressure is fine, and other tests fine too, just need to lose a bit of weight. Anyone got any good advice. I'll give up bread as I'm eating too much of that. Gyms and swimming pools are out of the question as I live miles away from the nearest one and I hate swimming ! Can't really do jogging either as I have got a bad knee. Any advice for someone who likes their food and a odd glass of wine would be good !
