Back to the FBT - does anyone have a suggested wording for the ten years bit? Meaning that regardless of whether it's the current farmer or the trust he's leaving it to as my landlord, the 10 year tenancy is still honoured? What I don't get then is how to put a break clause in it - surely we can't both be fixed into it for 10 years even if both of us want out? Hopefully that won't be the case of course. What does a normal FBT look like in terms of the duration of the tenancy, how to quit (from either side), and making sure that the tenant can't get booted off at the whim of a new owner?
