So now the thread has been moved and will remain open unless it turns "nasty"
What is the definition of nasty and who is deciding this?
Why has the thread about this happening been shut down?
Had it too "run its course"???

I know! I was going to stand up for Brad a bit. I didn't hear all about the Grey Gables luggage debacle, but Brad's not a bad lad, really. At least he's not George.

Will he end up Roy 2.0, d'you think?
You may be right. It's a bit spooky........hearing them talk about Roy as if he is out of the room when he has actually gone.

Yes, it was shocking to hear that Roy had gone. Robert sounds like his own, rather world weary father now. I always thought of him as a dapper, jolly little bloke. Might even wear a cravat on occasions.

If i disagree with my wife shes says im nasty
For a peaceful life ive learnt its best to say please and thankyou and dont disagree , being nasty gets you nowhere. , but it also helps to have a man shed in the garden ,

No idea, I told a story about gypsies stealing my irrigation pump, maybe it was that?
That's the trouble with arbitrary justice without explanation
Not going all woke are you?
You usually promote some fairly extreme viewpoints, from Covid to immigration, and are not always the most sympathetic to opinions other than yours.. :)

There seem to be an increasing number of non-Ag related threads posted in the Agricultural Matters section recently. It's almost as if they are posted deliberately to push the edge of what's allowed on here.
The obvious answer is to quickly shift them to the appropriate section. A bit too obvious perhaps, maybe the mods are being pressured to keep traffic high on what is the main section:unsure:
It's certainly not the forum it once was, people seem to be getting more divided and aggressive towards each other.

Err i disagree with people, they disagree with me.
I don't "promote viewpoints" , i say what i think.
You think having views different to the majority is a bad thing?
As i have slready said, fine if you want to silence me, but better to have the courage to not hide behind nonsense like "the thread has run its course"
He has a new explanation around the content now and people are free to post again.
I guess that's as much of an acknowledgement of error as will be available.
Although they will be stopped if deemed "nasty" though the definition is unclear.
It's all water off a ducks back to me compared to the abuse my views have previously received.

The thread in question should have been moved to the politics section as soon as the mods saw it as it had nothing to do with farming!

Mods job is not the easiest but perhaps a good idea moving forward that threads cannot be locked unless 2 mods agree it should be and perhaps that should also be the case for putting people on pre mod etc.

The problem is there isn't much else being posted in Agricultural Matters, even the, I hate the NFU, RT, AHDB and the BFU will save the world threads are getting less and it might be affecting traffic, which is all that matters to the owner.

The individual sections on here are way better but perhaps they don't get the views?

The politics section is just trash, there are people on there who don't post anywhere else, that section won't be attracting advertises :ROFLMAO:
