All ways had good hire service from Jewsons
This was just taking the piddle.
This is the same bucket I used a month ago , it needed fixing then and they brought out again ,still not fixed ,, Because they are not allowed to repair anything unless it done via the lease company.
Got fed up with the pins drifting out because there wasnt a pin in the middle to hold them in .
Good job I'm still handy with a welder .
Mended ,yey

My oil fired boiler (30 years old) is flaming out now and again. Cleaned the fuel inlet filter, big improvement but still a slight a problem. Next step replace the jet but where I normally buy the jet they say they can only supply to the trade now. Finally found a supplier in Republic of Ireland who would post one out, but makes me think the screws are tightening on older heating appliances probably trying to force us into heat pump crap.
The last certified engineer we had out fitted the wrong nozzle and it melted the splash plate at the back of the boiler. I disputed the nozzle type he’d fitted and he asked me what qualified me to tell him his job. Nothing, I said, the nozzle type required is printed here on the inside of the boiler door and it isn’t the one you fitted. At that he stormed off to his van and was never seen again. That was 10 years ago and I’ve maintained it myself since though I do have experience with gas turbine combustion chambers.
It's so true that boiler engineers are a shower of useless buggers. We have an old British Gas oil boiler, must be 40 maybe 50 years old. They came out 10 years ago, condemned it, so ever since dad has maintained it himself and it runs like a dream!

They're no fixers, merely new boiler salesmen!

I sold 5 young, high index empty cows directly out of the paddock via the local stock agent about a month ago, to date I haven't had any paperwork or payment.

I've got sick of chasing the agent around in circles, now I've started hounding the office lady.

Grrrrrr. Tempted to just go and get them back myself (I know where they are).

On the other hand, buy any stock through them and you get a 7 day invoice before the blardy things even arrive. Heaven forbid you're a day late in paying

I wonder if the receiving farm has paid for them?
