We work with Fiona Lovatt, a lameness expert and she tells us oxytet for first port of call and PenStrep if thats not working.

Any Oxytetracycline based antibiotic is best for foot rot, alamycin, engymycin, terramycin are all oxytet based. Best way is to jab and spray with oxytet antibiotics, DON'T trim and isolate lame ones until they are sound if possible. Keep track of tag numbers and any that repeatedly get lame...
