Bone Nibbler

I was watching youtube shorts and there is an Australian guy who does tool and workshop reviews. Has a go with one of those angle grinder/chainsaw type disc attachments and it promptly binds on the workpiece and cuts into his clothes, right on film. I don't know if he staged it deliberately or not but it put the wind up me I can tell you that. If I can find it I'll post it up.

You gotta wear gloves and goggles. Anything less wouldn't be tolerated in any industrial environment. Totally accept that too thick/chunky you won't have the same level of feel but there are so many different ranges about there is bound to be something that suits.

I did a finger in when I was 14, got crushed in an old Foster digger.
A long time ago but I remember the whole experience clearly, especially the high speed trip to hospital in a Subaru pickup!!
Local anesthetic operation to stitch it up after being sorted out. Quite an experience for a 14yr old.

First two years afterwards the cold weather was savage sore but after that it better. Ollie could probably explain why, guess it's the neve ends adjusting somehow.

I messed up a foot badly the following year but that's another story.
Man beside me had a wooden leg from he was in his twenties after a machine accident took it off well above the knee, he said he could still feel his toes freezing in cold weather.

That is because of how the nerves meet and join with each other in the spine before heading upward to the brain.

The same is true when you have say, pain due to gallstones, you get a pain in your abdomen at the front where you would expect to feel pain in your gall bladder but also in your back or shoulder blade.

It isn't 100% understood why referred pain occurs. It is the subject of a lot of research because being able to turn off or inactivate pain or unpleasant sensations would be very useful therapeutically.
