Finally after 3yrs things are starting to move on our turbine project,couple photos of the site pre construction.

Cable layed and anchor ring arrived
Roads due to go in before christmas,base in January and built out in March/April all going to plan.

Why are they digging so deep for the road?

So you didnt go for the RRBs are you going for 1 turbine or is that 2 rings Is there a better payback with the EWT even after the tarrif drop than going with 2 smaller and getting the higher tarrif

We lost our place on the grid due to being messed about with developers,ewt should produce a good bit more than the 2 RRB'S and going by the RRB'S in this area i am glad we didn't end up down that route.Roads + crane pad nearly ready,hoping for a quiet January to get the base laid.

Short road in,had to go in that depth for levels also needed what was dug out to bring up the crane pad level

Do you know how many cubes of concrete they will need to get the base completed?

Approx 120cu,base doesn't look as big as i thought it would be.

When does the ring go in?. I thought it would be in place before the rebar was fitted

Foundation done In 2 batches,ring goes in for the second batch,same as you I thought ring would of been in and done in one pour but base design calls for 2 batches.
