almost every mineral can be benefit or toxic. Paracelsius created a phrase like this: "the dosage does the poison".
I'm personally on a detoxifying program but will not comment on how good it works until I have my next test done soon.

Thats true dose is critical, salt being a case in point without it you die, two ounces in one hit and you would need some serious help to survive

I saw a warning on manganese some years ago and checked up on it, yes nasty for you. Linked to Schizophrenia apparently.

sorry to hear about these cases of illness.
As far as I'm aware my neighbours bore hole contains heavy metals but they have a filter system to remove the toxins.

I often wonder how homeopathy users feel about pesticides, and how the dose response is explained.

Thanks for raising the awareness of the need to be careful around nutrients. It's not something that would have occurred to me
