whats the point in this hms will lift the implement knock the pto out etc so all this does is turn the tractor around for £2000 what the driver doing dont get me wrong i think gps auto steer is great but why the need for this or am i missing somethink

because it can!

its another step towards driver less tractors/ 1 driver 2 tractors.

All that steering nonsense is a thing of the past. RSI claims must be getting high from machinery operators left arms.

It is nice not to have to turn on the ends though.

Agree i dont think its worth 2k, there is very little savings from it what i can see after using it, at the moment.

Finally got mine working after spending 2 hours adjusting figures.

another thing like air con and electric spools in 10 years time we will wonder how we managed without it in them good ole days!!

i can see a use when you are running 12meter plus implements, this could well save then

so basicly when fert spreding to make sure every time you turn in to the headland tramline in the right spot so your not runing over crops

its the first step on the obvious and enevitable road to not needing the driver at all or at least maybe 1 operator being responsible for several machines at a time

In my short experiance of Itec pro i dont think it would be accurate at highish speeds to not distroy most of the headland!
mine runs RTK and it often has a hissy fit even below 10kph let alone nearer 12 or 14 when spreading.
It dosnt like running headlands either! glad we have grass margins! lol
