XTI 160 MMA / STICK WELDER / INVERTER ARC WELDER

With Lift Tig Function (Single Voltage) with cary case (No Torch)

What Jonathan Say's about the Parweld XTI 160

" For those of you that have an old Oxford Stick welder in the corner of your workshop or have not used an inverter welder before then you are in for a shock. The Parweld XTI 160 stick welder at less than 5kg is completely portable and with its DC output it makes the poorest of welders feel that they can take on a gas pipeline. With this powerful little machine you will be able to weld using a 3.2mm rod all day long on a 20ft extension lead or use on a 7kva transformer or generator using 100-120 amps of this 160amp welding set. As some of you will know not all welding machines can cope with dissimilar, stainless, hard facing or low hydrogen electrodes because of their low open circuit voltage however the Parweld XTI 160 can and again it will give you a great result. I have used this machine and have seen it used on a coded welding job, I can only say that I love it, so much so that I now have one at home."

If you buy one and don't like it, send it back and Ill give you your money back !!! ........

Jonathan

The use of inverter technology allows the construction of a lightweight portable MMA Inverter machine which is ideal for maintenance applications.

DC Output
The XTI 160 has a DC output and when combined with the correct type of electrode it is suitable for welding alloy, non alloy steels, stainless steel and cast iron. Electrodes upto 3.2mm can be used with ease.

Tig Welding
By fitting the optional Tig torch and coupling to a suitable gas supply the XTI 160 can be used for Tig welding and is suitable for welding steel and stainless steel. The lift arc mode limits the arc current when the tungsten touches the work piece preventing electrode damage.

Generator Friendly
The XTI 160 is able to cope with inputs which fluctuate by +/-15% and can be used with the majority of generators. The machine is housed in a rugged steel case and is supplied complete with a storage case to hold the accessories.

Also does a beautiful job with stainless rods!
Repaired a 200 gallon stainless tank with one with a 1200 mm circumference weld tank heated to 1200 degrees 3 years on weld is still perfect cracking bit of kit!!!

I've been using this welder today, it's bloody good, amazing how easy it is to use.
Physically very small but plenty of power to properly burn into the parent metal.
No affiliation to wsd, just thought I'd share my experiences and say it as I see it.
Was excellent value for money.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
