quick fixes, bodges and creations

Needed to get a tempory fence post in to some rock in fill before stacking the round bales, made a hole with the palet forks and used this small stone to get the post in !!!

Bale carting with the loadall and trailer the other night, when it got dark couldent see the ring hitch, found some white paint job done !

I used to have a wooden block for the shoe to sit on tied to the drawbar so when you had to move the trailer mid-load you didn't have to get off to pick block up, it just followed you. (y)

Now I have large metal plate bolted onto shoe so it can't sink.

Next job is to mount 4 bushes and new tines into this old thing for another bale spike, but the bushes arnt long enough to go in the bottom box section and there to big to fit in original bushes, also everything is seized up solid. I feel another bodge coming on

Today's concoction. Old reel we use for a slurry pipe . The mechanism that controls the pipe on the drum kept breaking through wear and old age. So put a long ram of an old destoner And a spare spool and when it's winding back in when done in field will work it man draulic

Did you not see it the bearing it sits on came of a stone crusher out of steel works. And some old sprockets an old spanner for foot rest. Weighs a bit. Was a bit high so had to cut 6 links out. Handle was one of bits cut out

Your IW trailer must be stronger than mine. I've plans to mount one on a length of box on the corner.
The best I've seen was on 2 pieces of PTO shaft profile, rock solid.

Our valtra dealers service vans have a pto stub welded vertical to the side of the ball hitch,the vice has a pto yoke welded to the base so you drop it on in whatever position you like.(y)
