yes !Isn't it slowly but surely??
Same story with us,The A/D cowboys rolled two trailers on the road carting wholecrop, They would better off with a belt loader & some trucks, Will only be a matter of time before some one is hurt.

traveling along a flat long duel carriageway one day I noted that my tractor at 50k was using 22.4 litres of fuel an hour,so I dropped down to 40k and it was using 13.6 litres an hour so I go everywhere now at 40k . so I get there 5 minutes later so what. funnily enough I always seem to catch up with others that tear along at 50k somewhere.Ive always thought if you need to go flat out you need another trailer on..hate bouncing about and slamming brakes on dont see the fun in it.. But i proberly have a bit more mechanical sympathy than most lads with having my own tractor to use rather than someone elses ha And having a extra trailer with tractors going steadier would proberly use less fuel than one less but them all going flatout wouldnt it?
The thing with tractors is just cos they will do 50k they have to go that fast, If everyone thought that way with there cars and motorbikes it would be carnage
hardly or some would be doing over 200 all the timeThought that rule applied to bikes as well!?
Local Police have made it crystal clear that the new law applies. The thing with tractors is just cos they will do 50k they have to go that fast, If everyone thought that way with there cars and motorbikes it would be carnage
yes but some don't think soThe whole point of most tractors having 50k is so they use less fuel dooing 40k!! Bit like a 6th gear in a car
No softly, slowly catchy monkey!Isn't it slowly but surely??

I knew a chap that said the bends on the M5 were quite sharp at 180
Local Police have made it crystal clear that the new law applies.
40k is the legal maximum and fixed penalty notices will and indeed have been given.
50k only legal with Fastrac or MB Trac and only with air brakes.
I know they rattle on I use to on a bike but they are not flat out all the time
