Borehole / water source control.

Could anyone point me to any instructions for how to control a borehole pump from a flow meter? I have a header tank I want to keep topped up. When the tank isn't full i'd like it to take up to a certain amount each day from source A. If that doesn't fill the tank i'd like it to open a valve and then fills the tank from source B. When the tank is full it should shut off both sources or open them when empty.

I know this is a bit detailed but can't find any solutions online - could anyone suggest anyone / companies to help?

yes it can be done - albeit will need a bit of thinking about. Give me a call if you want to discuss - I could do with a bit more information on the water sources.

It would be quite easy with something like a Siemens Logo, below is the RS Components web site but available from the likes of Automation 24 or Parmley Graham. If you register on the Siemens website for tech support you can download the programming software free, there are plenty of YouTube tutorials.
