I have a KH match plough, when I got it it was on 2 piece comercial points (very easy to get hold of) since then a ploughman from North Wales has had a batch of match points cast, not cheap but well cast. Think he had an ad in one of the tractor mags some months ago.

From which part of north wales was he from? You dont happen to have his contact details do you?

Glynn Jones from Denbighshire, does lots of different point which are cast steel so you can weld to them if you so wish, he does points for the RWM's which are hard to get hold of,
I think Glynn is chairman of Denbighshire Farmers Ploughing Society, he has presented the prizes at their match for the past 2 or 3 years.

I paid £2000 for my KV on fiskars boards so I'd of thought it would be worth abit less than that

I have seen this plough on ebay a few times now, it was listed at £ 900 1st time I saw it but cannot remember whether that was buy it now or auction starting price but it had no bids/offers at that, was almost tempted myself but it was a way away and at a busy time so the idea was shelved

Does he plough with a ransomes robin and a mf 35 with a cab like a greenhouse on top? So it was worth the asking price and more then? You don't happen to have his number on hand do you?

Yes, that is Glynn, sorry don't have a number to hand, any plough is worth what someone is willing to pay, I was slightly tempted as I regret selling mine in the late 1980's, however it would mean different transport and another tractor so not rushing to do anything

I gave the guy a call and I bought the plough for a price that i thought was ok. Hopefully it will arive tomorrow with a courier as it was just too far for me to collect.

Looks very tidy Will, rear landside looks short but just remembered there used to be a rolling one on the back of there, and adjustable tails as well, we used to run our at 12.75 inches furrow width on sand and 13 on heavier going

That was meant to be sent yesterday as the plough arrived today as you can see that it is stuck to my tractor just incase that seemed odd. Thanks for the number Roy, I'll call him tonight probably. I shall keep that in mind when using it. Most probably the first outing will be flint I think.

Nice ploughing, I would be happy with ploughing half as good as that. Do they plough well on grassland as well? What year were they introduced? Late 70? I've just given Glynn a call and bought two shares for £60 each.
