So feb start date will be sometime mid-late May?
Is the panic about payment dates because lots of costs have been incurred starting to implement SFI options and cash flow is tight? In the HLS and CS schemes the gamble was recieving payment within 12 months of spending all the money or getting paid twice in one financial year and being taxed to death! A good overdraft facility was essential! Be patient...

No, not really. Not had any costs yet (too wet to plant so haven’t ordered any seed).
However, with drilling dates for spring crops getting later, and not a great deal in the ground pre-Christmas, the SFI income is going to be important this year

BPS is the weather insurance! Luckily 50% left this year! SFI money takes no account of weather...

Checked with bank, and I have also received the 1st payment
No.. If you take the money.. YOU take the risk.. You will have to deliver the "AIMS " to get paid but at least you won't get fined for not achieving them or paid...
They will inspect using Remote Sensing and if the area is not correct or the land designation is not correct they will just reduce your payments in following years as happens in HLS and CS now.. They will ofcourse allow you to correct the error by replanting the crop but you might lose that year... If not it would just lead to massive Fraud opportunities which they may or may not have thought about??
