I love your photos. I think I have said that before though!

New scraper. A real one too! We've never had one before that wasn't home made.

Could get them to lancs quite easily, dealer that buys my fat bullocks takes lorry loads to Preston twice a week!
Hope so, anyone got any ideas where to advertise them? They are in mole valley newsletter and with baca
This forum and many others like it are as good a place as any, or if you are on twitter or know someone who is try and contact the many dairy farmers who post on there.

No, they're good as gold. Would rather they were sold and working now though. Doesn't seem to be much interest.:(

I'm not interested at the moment I'm afraid, we're just taking our bulls (all jersey) out and now just have to try and keep them out of the cows in somewhere else until 1st of May next year.

My herd is all spring calving jerseys but longer term I have grand plans to have a smaller autumn calving herd. This herd would essentially be a flying herd made up of all F1 crosses bred from the jersey herd and not calving until they are 29/30 months. I have 1 BF cross in the herd at the moment and some days I think I would quite like a while herd of them

If this plan ever comes together then then autumn F1 herd would probably all come from natural service bulls, probably BF, and would all be put to a blue bull each year with calves sold at a couple of weeks old so I would be looking for a regular supply of good Friesian bulls.

Can you tell us anymore about your herd? Production? System? Inputs? From the photos of your cows it looks quite a hard farm

How far the wrong side of the Tamar are you?
