    Harvest '24 hold-up ?

I am not an expert. My guess is :Grains look good. About a week away from fit.Lowish protein. 33 grains for an ear is low, have seen some this year with nearly 70 in Crusoe. Maybe it is super thick .

Red tractor stakeholder survey on governance

And how much do Warburtons value farmers? About £10 below the market value.

GFC disgrace: Here's what NFU, AHDB and RT have signed us up for

So,is this all coming from government? They take away subsidy, install unexciting environmental schemes and then tie your hands together by directing assurance schemes to go green without any premiums. British farming becomes uncompetitive, supermarkets buy cheapest from overseas. British take...

    Supermarket Labelling ... again

If you see anything that is wrounly labelled, put it in a trolley and leave in another aisle. It may help getting the message across.

    RED value in wheat price

I believe the value of Red Tractor should be ,what would the difference if the scheme wasn't here. Would the market drop? The answer is probably ,No,therefore it has no value. Its supposed value at the moment is because there is no competition. It is a fraud organisation.

Red Tractor to launch new basic standard for combinable crops

If imports do not meet our standards,by law, then they should not enter the country. We can then set our standards around our laws,by simply ticking boxes and providing a sample.

    E mail off red tractor

Where is the basic entry to market ? They can then have as many add ons as they like ,each with a value attached.

    Supermarket protests 😅

Inconvenience the supermarkets but not the public. Any produce that is badly labelled or misleading, put it in a trolley and take it to a different area and leave it. The message will get across if enough people do it.

    Red Tractor Enviromental Module

I am cynical of the whole story. Kit Papworth said he would stop environmental standards reaching Red Tractor. Maybe it won't happen and we will all think that we have a win, this will then take some heat off red tractor. Its a bit like a housing developer asking for a 100 houses when they only...

    GTL Fuel

I have used GTL for the past 3 years as we were having too many fuel problems. I have recently had to change filters within 100 hrs using the GTL. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

    Simba sl springs

I have also got an SL700. I know of some machines that have fitted shearbolts and somehow kept the spring as a fixed unit. Philip Brock of J Brock and sons has come up with a stronger rod design for the spring , this was my preferred option. Any more rigid and the frame will start to show...
