    LR defender Cornwall/Devon/swest

Thought I'd post on the off chance someone is selling a defender 110 either a county station wagon or a twin cab. Not fussed at all about looks, scrapes dents etc farm use suits me, as long as it's been looked after underneath. Thanks!

Compensation for mineral rights extraction over surface land ownership.

My deeds did not mention the hedges or the top soil either.... but I take your tenuous point. How does someone then check the mineral rights, or if indeed a third party has rights over the land they want to purchase?

Compensation for mineral rights extraction over surface land ownership.

Ex farmer. The Dutchy is re registering its manorial rights, some of these 'rights' were afforded centuries ago, and have not been in any way utilised, made claim too or even made reference too in living memory. Compensation for mineral rights extraction over surface land ownership.

This is not strictly true ex farmer. Many people who own farmland in Cornwall have been given notice of the Dutchy of Cornwalls legal mineral rights apparently running back over centuries...... This article explains the situation better than I can...

    Polytunnels

What is going on with LR prices?

I've a 110 csw that's nearly as old as me, fits me like a glove, and has never let me down, I love it, it's totally functional for me. Paid 2k for it 10 years ago and no major ridiculous bills since, probably an average £400 p/a on servicing and bits and bobs. BUT, she's a shed, a disaster...

    Airbnb

I like Airbnb I used it to rent a place in Italy in the summer and I will be using it again next month to stay at a converted barn on a farm yard on the outskirts of bath. The days of it being for people wanting a cheap room is long gone .

    Porridge oats

No, or if they are they are hiding themselves very well! Have just been googling to find someone who mills a premium porridge oat so that I can buy a big bulk bag. Supermarket oats are generally dusty and rubish. We eat a lot of oats! Incidentally, We buy our bread flour in bulk from shipton...

How many pieces of bread are needed to make one sandwich

I know someone *cough* who complained that his sandwiches were boring so he got egg mayonnaise the next day, the next day and for quite a few more days..... Until he begged for mercy and has never touched egg mayo since.....
