Question is what price per ton will farmers chop or bale?
I have to say my wheat and barley look to have very good straw yield
Seen some last years wheat straw change hands at £15 per Heston bale. So that £30 per ton
To be fair I am more in to stand out side factory's has more impact and focus minds very quickly. Problems is muller has divided it farmers all on different price and contracts. The farmer groups is just a prorgander machine
Yes it's not how much milk you produce but who you know. I can just remember the MMB days at leat that was fair. But saying that we never had a contact paying a premium ie supermarket one I think I tell were to stick it if they offered me one.
Real question that needs to be ask is who pulling muller strings could it be Tesco ? As for the muller farmers groupe have we seen all the board stand down from there Jobs? No it don't affect them all with gold plated supermarket contracts. Just talking and no action. As you can tell I am...
? Is it now time to leave muller and move to arla ? Been told arla have a lot of new bands that are hard to meet so that why people are joining muller.
Explanation need why muller have cut the price. Only thing that they come up with is muller farmers have over produced. It a quick profit take at the farmers expense
Half of the inspectors have never done a day work on a real farm! Mostly they play at it part time in my experience. RT needs a complete change if you think DEFRA were incompetent they got nothing on this lot !
