We have never been so far behind, failed fert on the silage ground today, just to wet, shall have to be patient

Anyone ever got permission for a lagoon away from the main farm? Would make more sense for me to have one in the middle of the silage block than at the yard

Have you calibrated the weigh band against actually weighing them on scales? I think you will throw the weigh band away personally

Is it the breed that's changed or the systems? I think Friesians will be used in situations now where they are pushed a lot harder/grazing/ low concentrate systems than they once were which may result in not the big strong hefty block that we were used to seeing?

I'm not risking it on our new parlour, going to clad with plastic, think it looks far better and tom pemberton paid £8.5k for that mess

Putting in cubicle mats has made our heifers lie in cubicles alot quicker

I think feed could be very expensive for next winter

First year using the datamars system here and I reckon I'm serving 6-12 hours later than when using the am/pm rule, can't believe how good fertility has been either, great improvement
