I'm very happy with my Vanguard ISA but it's only funds and I quite fancy a few individual stocks. If I don't make any further contributions after 5th April can I leave it where it is and open a new isa for stocks? or better to open a trading account and just pay the tax?

This is what I plan do do with a March start date - unless someone tells me it's not allowed before then!
