I seem to buy various things full of great intentions but well......

I vaguely remember a friend had them on tankers and the like. Wondered if they were still to be had as would maybe suit us here when replacing. Oh well back to drawing board.

Afternoon to everyone Looking at some new pto guards and remeber a while ago (mid 90s) looking at a big rubber type universal guard. It had fittings on tractors and machines and just fitted it over the shaft as needed.... Anyone remembrr what and where? Still can be got? All the best

Thank you. Yes that's what I was hoping but where, I assume on valve block, would I swap? Runs fine just when you don't use any oil it labours tractor so exactly as you describe closed on the machine vs open on tractor?

Looking for collective advice. We have an older of the above here which works well. Have it on an older dB, as all ours are, so I assume classed as open centre? Means when not working wrapper the hydraulics are stop ended in effect and constant pumping.... Not good. Is there an simple...

Similar to two drum version of the kuhn flex yes. Don't know the other you refer to from memory....

I would presume so..... Although it has solid gates to shape a row if required so I assume it would fluff it to a point

This is more like another small drum mower but has tines instead of blades.. Two drums side by side maybe 14 inches diameter? Pic to follow

Morning all Looking for some advice for the old grasshopper mowers. Got some here and get on well with them for ease of repair etc and great cutting mowers. Also now have a conditioner, but it came separate to any mower. It is oil driven and I dependant of the mower per say but lifts...

Sadly we left the kidd mowers behind and went down the grasshopper route. Seem to have a small collection of them now!! There will be a home for a Kidd though as they are respected old bits of machinery!

I would think if I can get an old mower in nettles the chances are the shaft will be fine as its totally enclosed
