I certainly wasn't talking about a reduced application rate. And i don't think Roy was either. The bean as it emerges before it opens the leaves can withstand a full rate it seems. We used 1.4kg of powermax (720g of active). That's 1000g of gly.

We have been caught out before by some very fast bean emergence in a mild autumn peeping up before we got round up on. Decided to use gly on some and graminicide on the rest fearing the gly would kill the emerging beans. Our oats cover crop was very mediocre the same year. But still did a job...

Are there many farmers including a carbon source with their applied nitrogen? I've heard many speakers say this is essential to prevent the N "burning up" soil carbon. Liquid fertiliser much easier than solid to get carbon into. I'm interested to try it this year but can find very little...

So I finally got to the bottom of my wiring loom problem. The conduit around the loom is corrugated and over time it ate into the wires just back 8 inches from the ECU on top of the engine, back from the larger upper plug, just where it turns 90 degrees. I think those turns in the loom are far...

Encouraging to hear slugs is a diminishing issue. Can you put it down to anything in particular? Do you have a low disturbance system or more convention tillage?

That was also a problem with mine only with the have throttle. I changed the engine loom and that fixed it. But not the chugging and losing power and error code. Incidentally the error is "auxillary controller missing". Does that narrow the problem down to the arm rest or under the fuse box?
