    Avoid anything with non dairy proteins - they are just used to manipulate the cost and not beneficial (one above uses Wheat protein for example). Cheap powders typically use more non dairy and hence why they are cheap.

    The question that concerns me as a supplier is why sell a 100+ year old family heritage business now? Yes money talks but there has to be a willing seller…….has the commodity run model run its course? Commodity based milk contracts can guarantee to track the bottom of the market for more years...

    Heard Meadow put gunes to heads. Not sure why people have panicked for homes as plenty of buyers out there - Leprino, SCC, Belton, Wells etc. Heard County Milk have offered to cover milk cheques and discount CMRs that they make to help out if they want to sign with them. Not sure as lady...

    Absolutely right. Whole milk comes with issues and if CMR bought well there a decent enough margin to be made between the milk litres in the tank and the powder cost. Don't use powders with any fibre listed on the ingredients - doesnt do anything for the calf and its all about lowering the...
