Chances are you will need plenty of heat. We used to use “freeze spray” to cool/shrink the pin itself, whilst heating the outer casing. Worked really well
Watch out for corrosion on the inside of terminals where either the live or earths are actually crimped. Will give the same symptoms as a corroded terminal. If you have a multimeter, some simple voltage drop tests will identify the issue easily. If you haven’t done a voltage drop test defore...
