    Cow feeding service…

I would do the relief work and have someone drive it full time for me. Would have to pay a sensible rate to get the right person.

    Cow feeding service…

Not so sure I have spoken to a couple of 300 plus cow units who are struggling to get good reliable staff, they like the idea and would do when the could to make it work. One this was both of them have 2 or 3 people feeding the cows and they need it’s too inaccurate costing them money and they...

The amount of farmers I know who are after “decent” staff is getting larger by the week and I know of farmers getting out of the industry on the back of it, that is the whole idea behind it, the machine etc isn’t the issue it’s the finding competent staff to feed high yielding dairy cows...

I’m not worried either way, I just wanted to plant the seed to see what feedback I got, was just an idea which if it would work would be a good service. I’m not worried either way.

Why an independent nutritionist? Seems like a lot of these “independent” advisors seem to be wanting two bites of the cherry and supply products/feed as well as charge for nutrition advice.

Can easily disinfect the wheels and operators boots between farms.

Depends on the density of farms in the area

Clamp management starts when it’s put in the pit so long as that’s right then their shouldn’t be an issue, If something did go wrong that’s why you have insurance. Rolling the sheet back is a couple of minute job which anyone can do a couple of times a week, like someone who isn’t capable of the...
