Yes we do but just need more cattle and wonder which is best way to get them sucker cows or buy in calves and rearer them

But I need more cattle to finsh so that why not sure which way to go dont think finshing stores is very good people seam to pay nearly finsh price for them

Some good grass but do rent some grass keep cheap on poorer land

I got the opportunity to rent a old airfield with 4 miles of runway would make a good feed lot and with 400 acre of land with can grow the grain / straw to do the job be nice to know what the return per animals would be

And they are very unreliable I have a friend who put some 4 years ago and they wore out and a lot of money to replace

Has anyone ever direct drilled old pastures it a old airfield the land hasn't been touch for over 60 years just topped it lovely soil

Chap up by us been planting the same barley for over 20 year and get good yeilds
